From an initial gift of eight prints and one drawing, The Museum of Modern Art's collection has grown to include more than 135,000 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, architectural models and drawings, and design objects. MoMA also owns some 14,000 films and four million film stills, as well as 140,000 books, artist books, and periodicals, all part of the Museum's library....

Outdated and poorly maintained

Went on a non-holiday weekday with a 9-year-old. There were only a few other visitors -- mostly school class trips. It cost about $20 per person.
What a disappointment. At least a fourth of the hands-on exhibits were broken or out of order. The labels didn't explain any scientific principles. Even in the 'new' section, Science and Main, at least...

Great For Family Fun

So much to see and experience here. There was more than enough to please the entire family, both the older and younger groups. If you're ever in the area looking for a family outing, especially on a rainy day, I would definitely recommend the Science Center.

Having been to Baltimore dozens of times over the years - concerts, O's opening day, football games, concerts, socializing, Tall ships, zoo, aquarium, etc - I had never been to the Maryland Science Center before.
Actually didn't even know where it was!
So bummed I missed this.... This "science center / museum" is AWESOME!!!

This museum was great. I never found myself bored. This is not only a great place for kids, but teens and adults as well. I recommend a trip to the science lab, where you can try hands on science experiments. Had lots of fun!

Decent Learning Spot for Kids, Not Many Wow Exhibits

I hadn't been here in over 20 years and now that my daughter is almost 4 and really into space and planets, I thought this would be a fun day trip for us. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and there are 3 floors of exhibits. First of all, the admission price was much more reasonable (about $58 for...
