I went to this office because of terrible tooth pain. My usual dentist was closed so I had few choices. The experience in the office was terrible; they did a root canal and took at least 10 x-rays when checking the root canal which I have never experienced before and I paid three times more than I have ever paid for a root canal (including having two done by an Endodontist). Now, some 4 months later I am still fighting to have money refunded to me that the insurance CONFIRMED was overpaid. They have avoided my phone calls and emails and continued to give me excuses for their office practices. This dentist office is terrible and I would not recommend them to anyone! If you are looking for a dentist in Plano go to Dr. Amanda Phan – she is wonderful, her staff is wonderful and I have gone to her for many years.
I had a terrible time with Monarch Dental. I went in for a referral, in great pain because the root was infected. I did not want any work done that day, but wanted to see an endodontist. The manager bullied me into having a root canal done that day. the dentist was sweet, but she could not complete the work because it was so infected. It was also extremely painful. she was never able to numb the area. She stopped the work and they gave me a referral. I had begun antibiotics before I went in and they suggested I wait for them to take effect before seeing the endodontist. That was something I wanted to do already. they gave me the number of the endodontist, but it was an incorrect number. I did not realize this for two weeks. Then they would not send over the amount I paid to the endodontist until I called several times. I was obligated to return to the dental office to have the crown placed, but that was delayed because they did not get it done in time. It was the second week of March before I was able to leave with a permanent crown.
Now, I am in constant pain. Every time i eat or brush my teeth, i am reminded of the mistake I made of going to Monarch Dental! The crown does not seem to be seated very well.
I would avoid this office!
I went in after i had pain for like a week finally bc i couldnt take ibprofin anymore and the doctor there was sooo sweet! the indian dr with the accent is who i saw. i wish i remembered her name but i know for a fact she was indian and was sooo sweet! her assistant made me feel sooo much better. ill admit i did cry before the procedure but they were sooo sweet, one girl upfront even lent me her ipod, they also called me a few days later to see if any swelling occurred and as a "post" cal or something.
anyway everyone was soo friendly!
the manager is awesome! she is soo flexible and arranged an awesome plan that's convenient for me, being that i pay for school myself and am not the richest person! :(
i was in mortifying pain.
now i can't wait to go back for my regular visits! :)

Thank you for keeping my teeth healthy.
I love the staff at the Plano office. Even though I live 10 minutes from the newer office in Murphy, I drive the 30 minutes to Plano. They have always treated as a friend.
I chose this office not because of cost but because it does have one of the best staffs I have ever encountered.
Excellent work and will be back soon.
Dr Partow and everyone at her location are great.
