Saw her for 4 years; changed diagnosis 4 times. first, I had IPF. Was going to put me in stem-cell study. Then no IPF, I had histoplasmosis exposure (never tested me), and that I would not get any worse, and could not get stem cell. Then it was bullus disease, then emphysema. She told me that any MD who said I had IPF was "stupid." Went to a regional group, tested, no Histo. 7 MDs say...

Dr. Gaar is amazing. He put me at ease before my surgery and his team was very professional. He kept me safe and comfortable through a very dangerous surgery. There is no doubt in my mind that I did as well as I did thanks to his expertise!

My child is very difficult to get IV access. I specifically told her to not even try her hands or wrists because the veins there never work with an IV. When my daughter came out to recovery, she had black wrists with around five to six holes from failed IV attempts. She would not listen and acted arrogant.
