Metropolitan Specialty Labs in Brooklyn has very polite and professional staff. They process patients fast. I've also noticed that phlebotomists are well trained (almost no pain from needle stick). This is the laboratory where I do all of my labs. Great thanks to the staff - keep up the great work.
After over a decade of fearing blood tests, the amazing nurse at Metropolitan Specialty Labs helped me get over my fear of the scary thick, blood-drawing needle. I didn't even feel any pain or jab. I sat in the chair as she taped some cotton to my inner elbow area, and marveled at how incredibly stupid I felt, living in my fear of blood tests for more than a decade - when all it took was 53 seconds to get over it. I probably thanked this nurse a million times and swore that she would be the only person at Metropolitan Specialty Labs I allow to draw blood from me from now on.
One of the key factors to my experience may be that I got at Metropolitan Specialty Labs early! It was my first time and I registered with reception by 9:10am. It's easy to find them in Brooklyn, clean, efficient and best of all quick. I used hate to give my blood but they have the best phlebotomists ever. In my opinion this is how the laboratory should work: easy, effective, and hassle free.

As far as walk in Metropolitan Specialty Labs I have never waited more than 15 minutes to have a blood test, pretty awesome. Also, very clean and tidy, friendly and very organized. My doctor highly recommended this lab in Brooklyn and I recommend them to my friends and family.

The service at Metropolitan Specialty Labs is quick, efficient and friendly. I've been here twice -for Blood sugar imbalance and Thyroid function. And both times there wasn't a long wait.
