This small and highly reputable chain of Canadian booksellers opened their only outpost in the United States to much fanfare in SoHo/NoLIta. Although the smallest of McNally's stores, with 7000 square feet it is quite spacious for an independent bookseller in New York City. My favorite bookstore in NYC. The cafe' is also more than amazing. Your staff is super friendly, they gave me some incre...dible book tips. My favorite small independent bookstores were Crawford Doyle and Corner Bookstore, both very small on the Upper East Side. This is less overwhelming than the wonderful but cavernous Strand. It's absolutely beautiful and they do readings downstairs. Tonight I heard a Yale classmate who took Henry/William …
