Cal-Mex is a bright, cheery space; super burritos come decked out with the works. It may not be what you can get in San Francisco's Mission District, but it's about as close to the real thing as you can get in Brooklyn.

Not sure I like this place, but I'm willing to try it again. They cook everything really well, but aren't super attentive to instructions. I had the steak quesadilla. I requested it without onions or peppers or pico inside and ended up receiving it with some steak and an almost overwhelming amount of pico. The quesadilla was maybe a 2 to 1 ratio Pico to Steak, and the cheese was barely...

The last few times I ordered from here my food was wrong. The most recent time it was horrible. Wet, sloppy, and a total waste of money.

Well, judging by all the other reviews something went wrong with our order apparently. Maybe the cook is on vacation? We are certainly no gourmets but the nachos were the worst we had yet. Burnt and inedible in our opinion. The one chicken taco we had, definitely had burnt plastic in it (i can still taste it while writing this review unfortunately) and the buritos were big but qualitywise...

Really fantastic and fast too! Only problem is that the last TWO times i ordered the Guacamole & Chips, I only got the Guacamole... no chips..
