Panel attorney Robert Matheu recently had a big win! His client and a Co-D were charged with PC243(d) aggravated assault with intent to cause serious bodily injury. It was alleged that they attacked the victim in the women's restroom at the Ridgeway Family Law Courthouse and then fled the scene. The pre trial offer was 180 days. The trial lasted 2 1/2 days in Department 12, Judge Renard Shepard. The jury was out for one afternoon and part of another day and as to Bob's client returned verdicts of not guilty on all counts and lesser charges. Congratulations, Bob!
