Massa Glass Co

Ordered one type of glass, received another with damage.

I brought two art projects to Massa for custom measured round pieces, approximately 14 inches. One was a mirror, not to be installed. The second was a sand-blasted glass to be installed. Mirror is okay. The sand-blasted glass installed was not the type glass I requested. They installed a satin glass that did not have the course texture of the sand-blasted glass discussed at the time of the order. Also, the cut of the glass and installation was sloppy. I told the manager/owner that the piece art piece would be backlit at the time of the order. The edges of the glass are chipped and light from behind shows the chips and the glass does not remain diffused to the edge. The art piece allowed for 1/2" rabbit allowing for rough edges in the install, although chipping extends into the viewable area. No compensation for the poor work was offered or allowed from the manager/owner. They offered to remove the glass even though removal would compromise or destroy the art piece. I do not have confidence in their ability to remove the glass and not damage my art work. I'm very dissappointed in the work provided and the attitude of the company. I will never use this company for any glass work in the future.
