Well It depend on how you look at it. There can be an infinate amount of complaints about the public transit here in Atlanta. My biggest thing it that it isn't 24 hours. It pretty much goaes where I need to get to and if it doesn't it makes that walk alot shorter.

Sic Semper Public Transit

Why don't more people avail themselves of MARTA? It's fun and can be really convenient (especially if you're looking to avoid the parking hassles around Philips Arena, or work out in the suburbs). One reason might be a perceived safety problem, although I've never had a problem. And then there's location...if you don't live or work a block or two from a rail station or bus stop, it can be a hassle. Still, MARTA is a valuable tool in the brawl against sprawl and congestion, and there's just something cool about a big city with a modern rail system.
