We are from Iowa but my husbands family lives in San Mateo so we visit frequently. Sadly, the Maggie Moos closed in Iowa. BUT there is still one in Hayward.
Hands down, its the best homemade ice cream that you will ever have. They have cones, sundaes, malts, smoothies and all kinds of mix-ins. My favorite is a plain banana...
