THe EPA

First, though the Fresh Air uses some ozone it doesn't fall into a class as a normal ozone generator. The RCI technology synthesizes what nature does to purify itself. Ozone is natures way of purification and these units operate at far lower levels than the EPA regulations. Also the American Lung Associations owns part of Honeywell air purifyers , or at least they support them in a big way...
