To the rater of Dr. Rick Laguatan at Dr. Anthony Lombardi's office: I totally disagree with your review. It sounds like a different person. I've always found Dr. Laguatan to one of the most honest, respectable, and professional dentists I know. He is very passionate about his craft and caring for his patients. Unlike other dentists I've seen, he has never recommended services beyond what was needed for long-term care. I've always been satisfied with his treatments and have observed him with other patients who echo my thoughts.
If his attny contacted you, I can understand why. Your review totally misrepresents his character and professionalism. I would go back to him anytime.
I saw Rick Laguatan, a dentist at Dr. Lombardi's dental practice for the first time and walked out of his office in tears. He was aggressive, arrogant, and rude. His dental assistant made condescending comments about me in my presence to him and I'd had just about enough. They obviously hadn't read my chart or noted that I'd had previously bad experiences with dentists and have a serious fear of them. It took a lot just for me to go in. I'd had enough of his rude staff and inconsiderate treatment. I walked out. If you need a dentist who will take time to understand you and your dental needs and a professional with a warm and kind bedside manner, see someone else!!!!
My dental work was performed by another, kinder, more professional dentist at another practice. I also received a letter from an attorney representing Laguatan demanding that I remove my review or face legal action. Rick Laguatan’s willingness to use threats and intimidation rather than more amicable methods to resolve this situation only serves to underscore my original categorization of him as “aggressive, arrogant, and rude.” Furthermore, after reading the contents of the letter from Laguatan’s attorney, I would also add “dishonest" to my description. The letter from Laguatan's attorney contains outright lies and misconceptions regarding my experience.
