Traveled to SoCal due to family emergency, and desperately needed a good meal with an old friend. We went here at his suggestion and we're thrilled we did. Only drawback is small, cramped dining room or uncomfortable picnic tables outdoors - we chose the latter due to warm weather.

The sangria was delightful-totally recommend getting a carafe to share with friends. I had the chicken relleno and it was delicious. My husband got the skirt steak and the rest of the party ordered different tacos. Everything was full of flavor and the presentation was beautiful. Will definitely be returning soon!

I really enjoyed the great food in a casual neighborhood atmosphere. All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The Octopus was fork tender and paired with some savory and smoky sausages along with a garlicky lemon aioli. Delicious! Lola Gaspar is a real gem in downtown Santa Ana!
