This is a true resort in that the goal is to keep you circulating inside the massive complex. It can feel like you're staying in a convention hall, but the lushly landscaped pool area and multiple services for children make this a good place to bring the kids.

We love this hotel because it's close to the action when you want action and it's quiet when you want quiet. Outside the hotel it's a short walk to all the clubs at South Beach, to the shopping at Lincoln Road and to the cute street side dining at Espanola Way. We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Loews South Beach. Service was outstanding from the moment we arrived at the hotel until the moment we departed to the airport.
