Intrigued most with the historical past behind heirloom jewelry, Laura James naturally founded her jewelry business with antique and vintage components taking center stage. James blends her Southern heritage and global travels with her affinity for one of a kind vintage components, gold, silver, vermeil and semiprecious stones

To broaden her range, James honed her Metal-smithing skills at both Arrowmont and Penland School of Craft. Calling on her background in Fashion Merchandising Design and Retail, Laura James Jewelry runs strong today since its 2005 inception.

I absolutly love this store. From the decor to the customer service to most importantly the unbelievable jewelry this is my favorite place to shop. The gold sideways cross knecklace is my everyday staple and woman stop me constanly to ask where I got it. Run dont walk to this posh boutique to find affordable one of a kind peices--- and thank me later!

This is truly my favorite jewelry (especially vintage jewelry) store in Charlotte. I love the look and feel of the store itself just as much- it has both a contemporary and vintage feel with tons of windows. Every time I stop in there I find new pieces that were just put out...I found out that Laura makes new designs every day in the studio which is nice to know it is always changing. I really like that she keeps up with the current trends but also gives them a classic twist so that you can wear the jewelry often. The girls are all very helpful, approachable and friendly.
