We love this place! You will find all sorts of gems in here. Books, music, DVD and vinyl records. Staff is great. Great place for a cup of coffee and a good book.

I loved it there! I am from Iowa and was moving a friend back from NC to Iowa and I spotted the store while driving down the road and I knew I had to stop! The books are in great condition and are inexpensice. 6 books for 19 dollars?? Say what?! Love it and if I ever go back to NC you guys wil be my first stop!

The Last Word is a family owned business that has been open since November 11, 2010.  It is owned by a mother and her two sons.  We are very dedicated to great customer service by featuring a knowledgeble staff that is friendly and curteous.  We also have a database of everything we have in stock.

We buy, sell, and trade books, movies, music, video games, and iPods. We also offer coffee and plenty of room to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. We support local musicians, artists, and authors by selling their merchandise in our store. We also give away cups of coffee on fridays. Limit one free cup per person, per friday.
