Laptops Plus Santee had a great selection of laptops for me to choose from when my HP Laptop died. I brought my laptop in for repair when I was out in east San Diego and I was pleasantly surprised to find new laptops with Windows XP operating system.
I brought my laptop to them to find what was wrong (was expecting it to never work again). It turns out that the motherboard was bad but they found that a recall on my computer was in effect. I have used them several times for problems, virus, and purchase. They are simply GREAT!!! They even give a $25 off coupon for service.
I took them a hard drive to copy. They said 3 to 5 days. I thought that was a bit long for a simple hard drive clone, but I left it with them anyway. 31 DAYS LATER I have not heard anything from them. I went to pick up my drive, they said it would be done in 5 MORE DAYS! Unbelievable! I asked for my drive back since it was not copied and they wanted to charge me $35. For what? to hold on to my drive for a MONTH! I'll NEVER use this company and recommend you DON'T!
