Don't miss their shows!

I've seen many, many shows here - always come away with ideas that stay with me for DAYS. Their motto is to 'tell good stories well' and they DO. This review section is a little mixed up - this is not a museum, and it's also not a theater dedicated to 'serving the Lord.' You'll see quality, thought-provoking, moving and outstanding theater here.

We saw The 39 Steps here last week. Great production! The actors were amazing! The theatre was nice, but the seating was very small. I was surprised by the size of the theatre upon entering. Very steep stadium seating. Several 'regulars' commented about the amount of patrons here the night we went. It was a full house the Thursday night...

Saw a couple plays here. Its really nice. A small production. Always great acting. Friendly service. Nice small theater in Coronado. If on travel its a really nice night out to have dinner and see a play. Lots of dining within walking distance. And free parking if you can find it on the side streets

The week we were there, the theater was dark! Disappointing

No shows available the week we were there. Also some of the shows advertised there were not playing there. It was in another location in the City of San Diego.

A beautiful, intimate theatre in Coronado's historic Spreckels Building, with a year 'round production schedule.

In medieval times, groups of Christian players would travel from town to town putting on mystery plays drawn from the Gospels. This theatre, founded originally for much the same purpose as the medieval troupes, carries that tradition brilliantly well, first as a street theater troupe and now as a permanent establishment. Now located in a beautiful building on Coronado Island, the theater also...
