Chose to stay at La Quinta because we stayed at one before and enjoyed it. You get what u pay for and they are pet friendly. We also signed up for the rewards program. My family and i travel to San Diego often and there are plenty of La Quinta Locations throughout San Diego.

We had medical issues to take care of in San Marcos so we stayed here one night during the week for testing and then again on a Sunday night before the surgery but in the same week.

The hotel staff members were very accommodating. The hotel room was very nice. We were upgraded to an interior room, which was wonderful. We did not hear noise from the outside. The Internet access was good at first but one day was not accessible. Eventually, the hotel modem was fixed.Then we were able to access the Internet.

Great price but the Freeway noise makes it difficult to sleep. Room was clean but bathroom tile was not. So if you can get the room for under $80 is a deal in the San Diego area. If you are paying over $100 look for a nicer hotel. Must admit I felt safe in the area.

Stayed here was treated so nicely by staff. Housekeeping is awesome. My dog could stay;)..just an all around great experience so happy I decided to stay here. Coffee maker. Rooms smelled clean and we're clean. The girls upfront were friendly and helpful. Grounds were clean.
