Restaurant

At La OaxaqueA+/-a (pronounced Lah Wa-hah-ken-yah ) we strive to be more than just a business. For us, it's not about the money, it's about the people. It's about the home cooked meals that just may best your grandmother's (don't worry, we won't tell) and creating a space where you can sit down, relax, and have great food without breaking the bank. As you come more often and get to know us, you...

This bakery and torteria specializes in Oaxacan cuisine, which is as hard to find around here as it is to pronounce. Nestled as it is amongst the junk shops, storefront churches and doorway-lurking...

Everything was very good with fresh ingredients and arrived at a great temperature considering the time involved. The deliveries were on time/early, and were made by nice clean people. The tlayuda I ordered was...

Pretty good Pupusas and shrimp quesadilla.I also had the chorizo and egg breakfast which wasn't on the menu but I asked for it anyway. The Pupusas weren't filled with maize like I've seen on many around the Mission. There were actually a good proportion of meat and maize. The rest of the food was typical of what's in the area. Overall solid meal.

Good food. Always busy, but worth the wait. Fast service once you get a table. I recommend reserving a table a head of time.
