La Grange Camera & Video

I have read many reviews about this camera store and most are terrible. I went there This summer after emailing them trying to figure out what kind of camera I needed for school. I needed a DSLR, but had no clue what it meant. I went in (a 15 year old at the time) with my younger sister and we asked questions. Heather was very nice to us and even handed us cameras to try out. The very next day my sister and I walked back and bought a Nikon D60. I absolutly love this thing. This was less than a year ago and I have already had much success and I'm so thankful to Heather, so I don't see why...

great service, very friendly and expert advice, took time to explain everything,everyone was very nice , sales person David, was very helpful and professional , in helping me choose my camera, and the owner Heather was very helpful and took time to explain all the functions on my new camera to me , and told me if I ever have any questions don't think twice about coming in or calling for help ( that's what they are there for ) great experience , would tell everyone to shop there for there camera equipment, why would anyone go to a big box store or on line when there are pros like David...

Lagrange camera is no longer at 104 west Burlington. They have moved to 20 east Burlington! Smaller shop but much more organized. The products they have in stock is astounding! I called to see if they had a canon lens in stock that no one else had and sure enough- they had it! And at the same price as everywhere else! Great store! When I saw the for rent and moving sign go up I was saddened to think that they were leaving my home town! Luckily they only moved a block away and stayed in town! The new place looks amazing! The new place at 20 E. Looks so much more up to date and is much more organized. Friendly staff. Had a bad flash, and while mine was out for repair, they loaned me another for a shoot while mine was being repaired. Prices aren't the greatest, but they make up for it with service and know their product. Even hard to get stuff such as polaroid film!
