Taurus currently purports to offer a $75 rebate on ANY 1911. At least, that is what it says on their home page and rebate coupons.
When you try to collect, it is a different matter. Then they explain that ANY really doesn't mean any, at least the way you and I define any.
I think a lot of people are being screwed by them. As soon as the word rebate came out of my mouth, I was placed on hold...
