Editorial reviews from the web (1)

Opened by a member of the family that owns a legendary, if faded, resort in the Catskills, Kutsher’s Tribeca turns all the old jokes about Jewish cooking upside-down. The food’s not bad. My boyfriend and I went a few weeks ago for restaurant week to try this restaurant. We were both really impressed with the food. The pastrami egg rolls were delicious. The matzoh balls themselves were on the softer side, but the broth was flavorful and th

Save your $20 and go to a corner deli

Just ordered the KT pastrami. The first bad sign was the Dr. Browns soda was not in a can but in a plastic cup. By the time I got back to the office it was watery. The KT pastrami was just unappetizing - dry stringy.Fries are ok but not worth the trip.

Scraps of Pastrami!

First time to Kutshers; Hoping to have a great Pastrami Reuben for $18- What came out was a small sandwich where there were scraps of Pasteami-not slices of meat and a third of it hard and dried...my first and last visit!

Egg cream

I ordered my very first egg cream (chocolate) at Kutsher's and it was so good! I'm glad that I saved my egg cream debut for this restaurant.

Good food - overpriced

The food is pretty good here but the prices are ridiculous. Definitely not worth 14 for chicken broth and noodles.
