Stay away from this school if you're not American or Russian. This "international school" has a racist teacher you could meet: LeoAnd even if you're American or Russian the teacher will first do Kristin's pieces and then help the students.

Kristin is an amazing entrepreneur and business woman but along side this she is a great teacher. The school is great, Kristin and John (the other instructor in the school) are really helpful on projects, and they are very kind. If you are attending the courses for beginners you will get what you want and design your own jewelry. But if you want to start a new career path you should take comprehensive courses, because in this field a life time may not be enough to master in goldsmith and there is a lot more to learn. The studio is in a great location of New York. There are plenty of places to go get food on lunch break with Broadway and Church street on either side. Small class size allows more individual attention especially on the week days when the classes are less busy. Kristin takes time to get to know the students even with her crazy schedule running her own company. John the main teacher is always there when Kristin has to run and meet clients. You get to design your own personal piece while John and Kristen teach you how to make as you go. This is so much better than every one making the same...
