He promised he' d come back to finish up the job and never did. He does not return phone calls. He screwed up the plumbing in the powder room causing drywall damage in the basement.

Bill Gabor Began refinishing our existing hardwood floors and installing a new floor in a different room for us in October 2008. We had to stop for a couple of week while some other remodeling work was done. When we called him to come back and finish the job, he said that he would come but never did. Now he does not return phone calls and we will have to take him to small claims court. The quality of the work is poor. Stay away from Bill and Knock on Wood Flooring.

We had this joker out to put in flooring in February. A few months later we started to notice spots where his crew had failed to varnish. Also noticed that our toilet was leaking. The plumber said that his crew destroyed a good portion of the pipe when they installed the flooring.

Bill Gabor refuses to return calls now when I ask him to finish up the spots where they missed the varnish. I've called him 4 times and he keeps telling me he'll call back.

I'm very very pleased with my new floors. Knock on Wood did most of the main floor of my home, as well as a staircase and hallway upstairs. They did a fantastic job matching up the color of my oak woodwork! Bill said that 1week of work was a "conservative" estimate. The work ended up taking 3 weeks! There were days when we would come home and literally not be able to see what they accomplished that day. They put a huge gash in our dresser so they had to sand and re-finish it. I had to ask him about it 3 times to actually get it done. And they set up the saw in our courtyard- which got saw...
