I have no idea of what the batter is that they use - but it isn't greasy at all - it is light and crispy - but not tempura. We walked there twice in our short 3 day stay in the Econo lodge just around the corner from this restaurant. Love it!!

Around corner from my shop so I bring business associates here a couple of times a month. Always consistently good. Nothing fancy, just good food, good value.

Stopped by for dinner after visiting the Phoenix Ale Brewery just down the street, Great fish tacos. Small clean restaurant great for families. Looks like they have Fish and chips for any sized family, saw huge piles of fillets on beds of cabbage constantly leaving the kitchen, will try next time.

The knock Kneed Lobster which is a Phoenix icon has been serving some of the best fish and chips around now has fish tacos. Yummy Fish Tacos

After reading several reviews we decided to try this family run restaurant. They are known for their fish tacos.
They were really delicious. Soft flour tortillas filled with crisp, flaky, tender fish. Topped with slaw, cilantro and a ghost pepper salsa with just the right amount of heat. Wish I was eating one right now. :)
