We are really enjoying the classes. Alex loves the lessons and can hardly wait on a "Karate Day", as we call it, to get done with school and head over to the dojo. The interaction with the other students and the instructors is great and Alex will usually not stop talking about what went on in the class; even though we are there watching too.
As for myself, I am enjoying my lessons. It is one of the things that I always had in the back of my mind but never had the schedule to support. Now that I am in a more routine career, and not going on six month deployments, I finally have the opportunity to learn.
Overall, I have to say, that I do not think we could have picked a better place to start. You and your fellow instructors are very personable, full of energy, and work very well together. Each one of you make the lessons exciting and enlightening.
The June graduation was great. My ring the adults did an outstanding job and as always I enjoy having the opportunity to help support the testing. I also wanted to share with you that I felt the demo team was terrific. I enjoyed Master Moore and the rest of the instructors perform their form, the board breaks and weapons were awesome and Master candidate Gimmenez and his son were just adorable. It was a very positive event and I believe the parents, family and friends had a great time as well.

After much consideration, I visited Karate America of Fort Lauderdale and participated in one of their complimentary Krav Maga classes. Upon class completion, the instructor, Mr. Twiggs, offered a plan, as shown in his company binder, of 12, $125.00 installments and waive of the $300.00 initial fee (down payment). Every kid should try this place out. Teaches them discipline, respect and confidence. Instructors are fantastic!
Not just a great kids program. The adult Warrior XFit program is an unbelievable workout for any fitness level. The adult Krav Maga program is a no nonsense approach to self defense. The program is broken down so you understand what you are doing and why. Our family has been training here for 7 years, and look forward to many more.
They have poor business etiquette. i recently bought a Groupon package deal to take some of their cardio kickboxing classes. I spoke with them on the phone to setup my first class. When I arrived at the studio, they turned me away, they said that I had taken a trial class 3 years ago and that they would not honor the Groupon that I purchased. I even had friends that purchased the special deal....
