Steve was awesome

The host Steve made up for the terrible parking accommodations. We went on the afternoon cruise, where we went to an island. There are less than 10 animals on the island. They have an alligator shiw, but then charge $5 per person to take a picture with a baby gator. Island was kind of a money trap....however, Steve was funny.

Three generations took this trip without the meal. Nice to see the riverfront homes. The island was entertaining. Nice staff. Kids had their pictures taken with parrots on their arms. (No fee & we took the pictures) Alligator "wrestling" kept the kids attention. The snack stands were pricey, so we were glad we took our own iced water bottles. Groupon...

I went on this tour when I was a kid and then returned to go the tour with my pre-teen kids. Happy to see the maintenance was kept up and everything was updated without taking away from the original look and feel.
