Jo's was the perfect spot for breakfast on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning with a seat at the outside section.
Jo's has a good sized breakfast menu, laudable food, and quick service. If you are looking for a place in downtown Austin to grab breakfast, I suggest you give Jo's a chance. When you go, make sure that you drink the Iced Turbo. You can thank me later.

My new usual in Austin. Great hot chocolate (and cheap at $2.30!) but make sure they give it to you in their hug mugs and not a paper cup (like all coffee shops seem to want to do in this country). Failure. This review is based on a visit during Restaurant Week in October in which we were not impressed. The food was okay, not special, and definitively overpriced. If RW is supposed to put their best food forward, then this is not a restaurant; it is a wine bar trying to also be a restaurant and failing at it.
Small selection with boring options. I can find something to eat anywhere. i struggle here. It's not that I don't like the options on the menu, rather it's that I'm not excited about any of them. The service is always adequate, but certainly not warm and fuzzy. There are too many other good spots in the neighborhood to spend a meal on this one.
