John Moore had the biggest ad in the Yellow Pages and had the most mentions so my parents called them out for a repair. They were ridiculously expensive. They charge $130 just to hook up the main shutoff valve to the toilet water tank, a job that took about 3 minutes.The good things are that they did the job and they answered the phone (which some plumbers don't).

Quoted us $8700 saying whole unit needed replacing. Really tried a great sales pitch but we were firm in our decision to get a second opinion. Second guy (from Mike's AC) fixed it with a new compressor for $115. What a scam john Moore is!! So pitiful and really upsetting!

April 29th called John Moore Plumbing to unstop kitchen sink. They advertise 24 hr. service. NOPE.....can't come that evening will come next day.They advertise $69.99 to clean out drain. NOPE......$199.99.  They'fix' it and leave. Takes 30 minutes. Thirteen(13) days later it's stopped up again. Call them, they come out, and tell me they don't warranty their work.
