We had a late dinner. It was almost empty and service was prompt. I had a club sandwich and my French onion soup. The meal was ok. The atmosphere was ok too.

Grest bar staff. Do not ignore you. Recognise someone is on their own and strike up conversations. Joe and Francie are attentive, friendly and efficient - as are the others. Good food, great service

Meal was great, I had the shepherds pie, mom had the chicken pot pie. Both wonderful. However it wasn't the meal that made the visit great. It was the host who made the experience what it was. An older gentleman (maybe the owner) that greeted us joyfully as if we had been his greatest customers for the past 20 years....
