My wife and I started dancing tango about 14 years ago and stopped for awhile before we found Jeni. We've been taking classes since last November and are really happy with the way she teaches. Unlike other instructors we've had, she's very friendly and helpful. Her attitude makes the classes not intimidating at all.

A small class and personal environment

I went to Jeni Breen Tango Academy for just a month, but I would go back! Jeni has a lot of experience, and she will help you technically with certain steps or moves. It's a small class, which makes it a more personal experience.

I really enjoyed my experience at Jeni Breen Tango Academy! It was the third time I took tango, and it was the most instructive. Jeni was very patient with us, and there's wonderful group of people there. I've had three other tango teachers, but Jeni was the best. As a teacher, she's a great resource! I plan to go back when things settle down for me.

Jeni Breen is a terrific tango instructor. I've tried other teachers in the past and she is the most effective one by far. Her methods are very effective. She doesn't just show the students where to step but also how to move. She teaches us the theory behind our posture and our movements and I feel like I have a much better intellectual understanding of the dance from her, compared to learning...

I first came to Jeni Breen Tango Academy and have been going there for about 10 months. We are learning Argentine Intermediate Tango. It's coming along. I've learned a tremendous amount and am becoming more sophisticated with the dances. It's like learning a language.
