Excellent Menu, all the basics but with some flare, fresh salads, good steaks, great prices, great martinis. For a non chain thruway stop (within walking distance of several good hotels) it rates a 10! Zayda the barkeep/server was very pleasant and rest of staff made us tourists feel very welcome!

New chef, new menu

We are long time customers and this was our first visit with the new chef and new menu. We were definitely disappointed. Service was lacking and food was not served warm. Not the old Jeffrey's experience...

Tried Jeffrey's on a recommendation from hotel staff next door. We walked over with the family and had a great filet, grilled shrimp, and even kids meals. We will definitely come back next time we drive through town.

I wish there was a rating for food and a separate rating for service. If there were, food would be a four, and service would have been a two and a half. My husband and I went to this restaurant because we'd heard so much about their food. It was Charlotte Restaurant Week and we each ordered different items off of the special menu: home-made pimento cheese spread on home-made crackers, calamari, roast beef, filet mignon, bourbon bread pudding (the chef's special recipe), creme brûlée, and good wine. A night to remember!...
