I can't tell you how miserable I've become as a result of going here.
In Feb 2016, one of my rear molars were hurting and I had to see a dentist. They told me it was hurting because an old silver filling had cracked the tooth and a root canal would relieve the pain. After the surgery, I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep at all. A few days later I went back and they gave me antibiotics because of infection. A few days after that, pieces of bone under that same tooth started protruding and falling out. I figured she drilled through the bottom of the root. When I went back, she claimed it was my smoking and that it was only an ulcer and refereed me to an oracle surgeon that was booked up for next 3 months. I requested my xrays and dental and they took noticed and referred me to another local office. The doctor there told me I probably didn't need a root canal and that there may be a problem in the jaw under the tooth... but she wasn't an oral surgeon so I got referred to yet another oracle surgeon. Starting in March, I seen the oral surgeon every 2 weeks for 6 weeks until we both agreed that everything was ok. When I returned to my original dentist, they had no record of my interaction with the oral surgeon and insisted that I go see yet another oral surgeon. I got the feeling that Jefferson dental didn't pay the previous oral surgeon and the next one I seen insisted that I pay out of pocket, since Jefferson dental used up all my insurance.
So, here I am 7 months later. I've been laid off, no money, no crown on my bare tooth, and no options. And, every single bite I take reminds me of how Jefferson Dental Clinics screwed up my mouth and jerked me around. Avoid this place if health or dental needs are important to you. Most importantly, avoid Dr. Parita Patel since she took no responsibility and has every excuse in the books to pawn you off on someone else.
