If you are into that trendy club scene in San Diego I definitely recommend looking into Envy. Bottle service is great and if you can afford it, do it. You wont have to deal with all the headaches like lines and crowds. Having a place to sit is key anyway.

Rude Service and Tacky Scene

To begin, a friend and I went to the Ivy on a Saturday night. The bartender was incredibly rude to us, as if it were an inconvenience to pour us a drink. We ordered two glasses of Veuve Cliquot champagne for $20 each (the only option by the glass) which tasted like acidic grape fruit juice. The champagne had obviously been left open and/or exposed to temperature changes so I asked the bartender for a new drink (the cheap plastic glasses were also dirty with water stains).
