The influx project took over two years from conception to fruition. An involved redesign, remodel, and rebirth, influx caused its owners much heartache, frustration, hair pulling, weight loss, farmer tanning, drywall inhalation and finally...joy, exhilaration, and a wonderful sense of accomplishment.
In a remote section of San Diego, Influx offers a retro style atmosphere. White walls encase a room of hardwood floors, where guests can sit along a fabric banquette. At the banquette, guests can sit at tables of two, where red cushioned white swivel chairs give Influx the flair it needs. This adorbs cafe in Golden Hill is a must. Their coffee is on point and salad/sandwich menu is wonderful. The baristas are super nice and I love that they have a wall for local businesses to put up flyers and business cards. Golden hill is very eclectic and this place encompasses that. They also have a little outdoor space so bring the pups!
Love the coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and quiet little patio. This location is my favorite since it's away from the hustle and bustle that the others have (North Park, Little Italy). This might be a drawback for some, but it's nice to find a relatively calm spot mid-morning on a weekend.
