Housed in the former private event space, 56 East, in the popular Andrews Entertainment Complex in Buckhead, The Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre boasts the signature Improv look plus a tasty menu that rolls in sushi selections from neighboring Czar Ice Bar into a menu of burgers and wings. Each week big name and no name comics get on stage to strut their stuff; laughs are guaranteed to ensue.
In Short
East Andrews is not where you’d expect to find a 1920s-style secret speakeasy, but to enter Prohibition you dial a secret number inside an English phone booth and press on the wall. With a country club crowd and cigar… Read More
The show was great! We saw Colin Jost (from SNL) and he was hilarious so no complaints there. The actual Improv Club though was far more disappointing. As other people have mentioned, there is a 2...
I love how intimate this place is. It's not very big so you have a great view of the comedian from where ever it is you're sitting. My only complaint about it is that the service can be slow. The...
SPOILER ALERT.. Negative review ahead So I just got home from the Kevin Smith show at the improv and while it was fantastic and he was hysterical and told some really good Johnny Depp stories...
I'll admit, in my first review, I had a bad night, so I decided to give this place another shot (partly thanks to a couple of free shows as well as some comedians I didn't want to miss). Had a blast here! Comedians were hilarious. I'm sure a lot of people's reviews are based on the comedians they see but all in all as far as location and service I thought it was great! I didn't mind being sat at a long table with others ... It's not like you are having conversations with them at dinner so it's fine. Really had a good time.

Look Good: This is a bar that specializes in well-crafted cocktails. With all the emphasis on Prohibition-style drinks, don’t be the guy that tries to order a domestic beer.
Know Before You Go: You need to know the number before you get in. This can be difficult because it changes daily.
Parking: There is a lot with a valet for the East Andrews complex, there is also some street parking that’s free.
