You can't mention the nation's comedy

You can't mention the nation's comedy
scene without mentioning the Improv. Don't miss the continuously rotating national acts that play in the city's newest home for standup

Housed in the former private event space, 56 East, in the popular Andrews Entertainment Complex in Buckhead, The Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre boasts the signature Improv look plus a tasty menu that rolls in sushi selections from neighboring Czar Ice Bar into a menu of burgers and wings. Each week big name and no name comics get on stage to strut their stuff; laughs are guaranteed to ensue.

In Short
East Andrews is not where you’d expect to find a 1920s-style secret speakeasy, but to enter Prohibition you dial a secret number inside an English phone booth and press on the wall. With a country club crowd and cigar… Read More

The show was great! We saw Colin Jost (from SNL) and he was hilarious so no complaints there. The actual Improv Club though was far more disappointing. As other people have mentioned, there is a 2...

I love how intimate this place is. It's not very big so you have a great view of the comedian from where ever it is you're sitting. My only complaint about it is that the service can be slow. The...

I'll admit, in my first review, I had a bad night, so I decided to give this place another shot (partly thanks to a couple of free shows as well as some comedians I didn't want to miss). Service ended up being better. It probably helped that the shows weren't as crowded. I still get the sense that the staff has a …

Had a blast here! Comedians were hilarious. I'm sure a lot of people's reviews are based on the comedians they see but all in all as far as location and service I thought it was great! I didn't mind being sat at a long table with others ... It's not like you are having conversations with them at dinner so it's fine. Really had a good time.

Comedy Club located inside the Andrews Entertainment District - with 7 other restaurants, bars, and clubs under one roof!

Look Good: This is a bar that specializes in well-crafted cocktails. With all the emphasis on Prohibition-style drinks, don’t be the guy that tries to order a domestic beer.

Know Before You Go: You need to know the number before you get in. This can be difficult because it changes daily.

Parking: There is a lot with a valet for the East Andrews complex, there is also some street parking that’s free.
