Il Forno Ristorante

This is one of those moderately-upscale Italian spots that still maintains that warm, family feel and authentic flavor. Everybody loves Circo, the owner, as well as Il Forno's fluffy bread, osso buco special, shrimp pasta with fra diablo sauce, and the seperate pizza menu (at request). Book a table in the outdoor terrace for a view of the lake and some privacy.

We returned to this restaurant after dining there the night before as well. Their pastas are fresh and their bread is amazing. Overall great food. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with our server. We are vegetarian and I ordered the burrata with tomatoes instead of prosciutto. The waiter informed me there would be a $4 charge to substitute the meat for tomatoes, so I kindly asked to...

Overall, dining at Il Forno was an excellent experience. The service was A+++, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Our server was able to explain every dish and was very knowledgeable of all ingredients and details of the dishes, especially the night's specials.

Everything was delicious, from the lemon potato and octopus slices appetizer - and the portobello Gorgonzola stuffed melted mozzarella appetizer to the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and the seafood pasta to the Nutella cake -YUMMY! The staff was great. Friendly yet professional and helpful.
