We went here for Sunday brunch. We had Mexican, American, and Spanish style food. It was all excellent. The cook used much less oil than most restaurants and all the food seemed healthier than normal for a Mexican brunch. The service. Was superb as well. I was surprised it didn't have a long wait. This place was recommended by my front desk clerk, and it was wonderful food. Authentic, fun, great tastes, the owners came and checked and chatted with me, all in all a great experience.

I was with friends and a nine year old boy when we stumbled upon Huapango's. Chips and 2 kinds of dips arrived quickly as well as great drinks. Great service and kid friendly. Looks rustic inside and adds to the dining experience. Good portions and glad we went. So full we didn't have dessert.

The good news is it's on a busy street corner. The bad news is, well, you get the idea. There's not much to be done about the bus stop out front or the weed-surrounded dilapidated tractor next door, but faster and more attentive service would help to distract customers.
