A lot of train noise..but,that added to the era of the environment. Lovely surroundings and wish we had more time to look and enjoy the hotel. This was our second stay at The Hotel Julien. We always enjoy Dubuque.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. They know how to treat their guests. Loved the spacious room, bathrobes, Aveda toiletries, Kuerig coffee maker. The fitness room, pool and hot tub are well maintained and clean. We had a relaxing two night holiday get away. We loved the huge natural Christmas tree in the lobby. The restaurant, Caroline's was delicious....

Staying at the Hotel Julien is our Hotel Home when visiting family. The Premiere Suite is perfect - very comfortable. With a beautiful view. The location is pefect. Can walk to many restaurants - right downtown. Even though it is quiet at night. - good for sleeping.

Can't wait to return.Our room was amazing and the Potosa Spa experience was well worth the time and cost. This is our second package stay with a spa treatment and we are already starting to plan our next getaway.

Excellent hotel, with great staff working to make your stay enjoyable. Riverboat lounge was a great meeting place to relax, have a drink and listen to some good entertainment. Staff was excellent especially working over Thanksgiving Holiday.
