Was in town for a night on business and just needed a place to chill and rest my head. Perfect spot. Staff was friendly and totally willing to help. The place is old but kept clean. I didn't use the kitchen but others did and looked nicely equipped. The beds are typical hostel bunks. Nothing fancy but do the trick. Restroom wasn't dirty or scummy at all. It wasn't good and confortable. Room was very small. Only one plug point in the entire room that too was close to one bed.. Other occupants did not have any option.

Hostel On 3rd is located in San Diego, a few blocks from the zoo, museums, beaches and the downtown convention center. It is set in a beautifully renovated historic building and features a common area with table tennis, billard, board games, and a flat-screen TV.
