We love San Diego and this is our 3rd trip. On our 2nd trip we tried Homewood Suites. With the option to eat in breakfast and weekday nights we were able to avoid restaurant zombieism. The running path along the water in the back is just our style and great for working off those breakfasts.
We flew in later then the shuttle service was available. So the Hotel told us to get a taxi and receipt. They offered to pay for it since shuttle wasn't running that late. The breakfast was very delicious. They shuttled us in the morning to a conference and the shuttle driver gave us good advice on where to go afterwards.
We couldn't have had a more delightful experience! From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and special. The staff represents what excellent customer service is all about!
