Love this hole in the wall place. Wish it was open more often. I always order the poke, but most things are yummy!

Outstanding, authentic Hawaiian fare. There aren't too many Hawaiian restaurants where we live in the Southern US so we made a bee-line for Homestyle Hawaiian when we landed in San Diego. Easy to find, fantastic menu....worth the stop for sure.

Big plates, tiny location

I'm fairly impressed by this little restaurant. And, I do mean *little* restaurant. It is TINY. There are maybe four or five tables inside, and two or three small tables on the sidewalk right out front. And the parking lot? A hot mess, which I can imagine only getting worse when the Burger Lounge next door opens.

New Location for a Dose of Plate Lunch

I just tried the new 3445 Midway location. Had the Kalbi Plate Lunch. Mac was perfect, Rice was perfect. Kalbi was almost perfect. They are just getting started, so I'll cut them a little slack. The staff could not have been friendlier and the restaurant could not be cleaner. I'll be back!
