Pros: Friendly staff; great location; easy access to food and transportation; free breakfast and parking, internet.

Cons: the facility is mediocre; the coffee machine in my room was old and the water boiled by it was brown; there is a renovation ongoing when I live, making the hotel look messy. When the renovation is completed, it should be better.

Remodeling with little thought for function

This hotel, which may never have pretended to be more than functional, is undergoing NOW a revamping. The intentions are good, but whoever designed the remodeling might want to seek another profession. Lighting is terribly mislocated. The staff was incredibly friendly!\n\nIt was undergoing renovations so there was more dust than usual and some things were not quite right (mirror was resting on floor instead of mounted on wall).

Great value and location

Several hotels near the hospital district are overpriced and lacking in customer service. We found the holiday Inn, near MD Anderson, to be conveniently located, a great value, the room was more than adequate and all the staff members with whom we dealt were personable and professional.
