We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. Ended up with over a dozen bites. We even captured two bed bugs, which we showed the staff. The hotel was great about the situation, but we still need to let people know. Beware!

the location was ideal for where we needed to go in Des Moines. The staff was amazing! Extremely helpful and very nice. The lobby/bar area was beautiful.\n\nI really wasn't impressed with the room itself. It was spotless but felt very dated.\n\nComfy beds, great view -overall was a pleasant stay at the location.

Great location to Event Center. Great shuttle service to downtown area resturants and bars.\n\nThat the shuttle quit running at 11:00 to downtown area. There is more than enough need to have the shuttle run until 2:00 A.M. I'm guessin the hotel doesn't like this idea because they like the business back at their own resturant bar after 11:00.
