Had a choice of two auctions on New Years day. The auction house in Kane and this one. Based on the pictures we chose the one in Alton even though we were familiar with the Kane auction house and like it alot. Based on the last minute delay for the Alton auction we swung by the kane auction house …

Mickey Mouse auction house. If you are not a regular expect your bid to be missed frequently. New Years day auction delayed 2 hours with virtually no notice due to 1 inch of snow that started more than a day before. Apparently snow is code for hangover.

I made the huge mistake of coming here hungover. Let me tell you from first hand experience that listening to the auctioneers sell items for three hours is not a good idea. This place is what it is, a building used for auctions, events, weddings, etc. It has a huge gravel parking lot to accommodate parking. …
