Wow, where do I start. Got 2 take-outs because we were on that side of town. The daily special was chicken teriyaki over rice with 2 vegetables which I got, and my husband got a chopped plate with slaw and baked beans. When I opened my take out box at home there was the most unappealing piece of …
Got sliced pork plate. Wife got chopped sandwich. Had ZERO bbq flavor. Tasted like oven cooked. Good slaw, fries and banana pudding.
Terrible service, rude old waitress. Western BBQ and red slaw sucks
Me and my father just left this place.. We waited 40 minutes for our food.. My fathers sausage was dehydrated (the cook knew this).. My chicken salad sat on the counter for 23 minutes with hot chicken on top.. It melted the cheese and turned the entire salad into a soggy mess.. Our waitress was very kind.. The only reason we didn't make a fuss is because she was young and a sweet girl.. NOBODY...
Solid NC BBQ. Being right off the highway makes it convenient for those on the way to the beach or on the way back to stop in and have some local food. Lots of parking. Big enough for a big truck or RV. Price is great. Perfect to meet friends passing thru on the road to other places.
