Do not let the location and ambiance lure you in. The staff is a nightmare and MAA is by far the worst management company to deal with. The elevators are often broken. The hallways smell of trash. It is difficult to obtain assistance for any issue (maintenance, tenant issues, pests, etc.). It is too expensive to deal with the issues that come along with it.

Break-ins, office management is unsupportive; unsafe, security gates frequently broken, elevators frequently don't work, and the list goes on. I would never live here again, and their lease...

I love living at the Highlands of West Village. This mixed-use development has everything you need from restaurants to shops to Starbucks. My apartment is clean, modern and in a great location.
