He took the TV, fixed it for the price he quoted, and dropped it back off exactly when he said he would. Friendly guy and a hassle free process plus 90 day warranty. I highly recommend Highland TV - 5 star service.
Matt, came to my home and checked out my Sony TV. He explained the parts needed gave me a ballpark estimate which seemed reasonable and I O.K.ed the repair. He came back later that day installed a module and my set works fine. This fellow was clean cut friendly and seemed very professional. Came to our home and looked at the Sony Projection set. Advised what part wwas needed and gave me an estimate which we approved. Came back later that day and installed a module. Set now works great.Final price was about 20% less than original estimate. We would ues this service again.
Please avoid this merchant if you want to save yourself money and a hassle. The owner (there is an owner who employs just a couple other people) came to our house to fix a problem that I explained to him on the phone, and then he claimed that he couldn't do it. However, he still charged us the $85 fee and was extremely rude. Something may be wrong with him. After speaking with him 3 times to complain, he said he would give me $42 back as a refund. I eventually got it, but I found out he lied about when he sent the refund through after I called his credit card servicing company. So sketchy.
