I showed up five minutes before they opened and they wouldn't let me return my car. Had to wait standing outside while looking at the customer service reps just stood on the other side of the glass waiting for five more minutes. Unbelievable.

We rented from this Herz location in need of a vehicle for the day to return that night. After listening to the after-hours voice recording with after-hours return instructions, we proceeded to the given address (270 W 60th St.) which was not even marked for a Hertz return location. I live within walking distance to this Hertz location, so this is my first choice for renting a car (assuming they're not exorbitantly expensive).
